• • You will be instrumental in consolidating diverse inputs from engineers, Product Managers, and leadership into a single, clearly prioritized backlog for the Core Portal team. This requires implementing simple, effective planning and prioritization processes that ensure transparency and alignment, so every team member understands the 'what' and the 'why' behind their work.
• • Improving remote communication habits will be a significant focus, aiming to create an environment where questions are readily asked, context is freely shared, and engineers avoid working in isolation. This will involve establishing clear communication protocols and fostering a culture of open dialogue.
• • You will collaborate closely with Product Managers to define product roadmaps, refine requirements, and strike a balance between delivering new features, addressing technical debt, and ensuring system reliability. This partnership is crucial for translating user needs and business objectives into robust technical solutions.
• • Engaging in deep technical discussions with senior engineers on architecture, system design, and critical trade-offs will be a regular part of your role. Your technical depth will enable you to provide valuable guidance and ensure the team is making sound architectural decisions that align with Kodex's long-term technical vision.
• • You will be responsible for ensuring that the systems developed by your teams are reliable, maintainable, and scalable, adhering to best practices and our established technical direction. This includes proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring the overall health of the Core Portal and Verifications systems.
• • Defining and tracking key team goals, communicating progress and potential risks to leadership, and establishing the Core Portal team as a model of excellence within the broader engineering organization are essential responsibilities.
