- • Lead and scale Ramp’s third-party events program as a core demand generation channel, setting strategic direction to drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact across new industries, verticals, and geographies.
- • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of event marketers, establishing clear expectations, fostering talent development, and creating scalable operating models for consistent execution.
- • Own the cross-portfolio event standards, prioritization criteria, and operating framework that align individual event surfaces with Ramp’s broader go-to-market priorities.
- • Manage aggregate pipeline goals for the third-party events program, partnering with surface leads to set targets, track performance, and surface cross-program insights to optimize outcomes.
- • Own the total program budget and allocation across all event surfaces, collaborating with Finance on planning, forecasting, and building business cases to justify resource investment.
- • Design and implement systems, reporting infrastructure, and operational rhythms that enable the events program to scale efficiently without compromising quality or consistency.
- • Identify and integrate AI-driven tools and automation workflows to enhance team efficiency, improve event targeting accuracy, and elevate decision-making across the events lifecycle.
- • Represent Ramp externally at key industry events, serving as a thought leader and organizational ambassador for events as a strategic growth channel.
- • Partner directly with Sales, Finance, and Marketing leadership to shape Ramp’s overall events investment strategy and ensure alignment with company-wide growth objectives.
- • Expand Ramp’s presence into new customer segments and geographic markets by identifying high-potential events and validating their alignment with Ramp’s growth strategy.
- • Maintain a forward-looking perspective on emerging trends in event marketing, continuously evolving the program to stay ahead of market shifts and competitive dynamics.
- • Ensure all event initiatives are data-driven, with clear KPIs tied to pipeline generation, revenue attribution, and ROI measurement.
- • Establish and enforce consistent branding, messaging, and execution standards across all third-party events to reinforce Ramp’s market positioning.
- • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing post-event performance data, capturing learnings, and applying insights to future campaigns and program design.
- • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration between events and other demand generation channels, including digital marketing and sales outreach.
- • Maintain strong external relationships with event organizers, industry associations, and partner organizations to maximize Ramp’s visibility and impact at key conferences and forums.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation at a B2B company
- • Proven track record driving significant, measurable pipeline and revenue impact through events programs at scale
- • Deep experience owning large third-party event portfolios end-to-end — strategy, execution, and performance measurement
- • Experience building and leading teams; ability to hire, develop, and retain strong talent
- • Executive-level stakeholder management skills; comfortable influencing and aligning with Sales, Finance, and Marketing leadership
- • Strong financial acumen — experience owning large budgets, building business cases, and tying spend to measurable outcomes
