- • As a Manager of Corporate Communications for FICO Software, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating the narrative around FICO’s software and analytics business, amplifying its story across earned, paid, and owned media channels to drive visibility for key initiatives including product launches, technology innovations, customer success stories, strategic partnerships, and major corporate announcements.
- • You will partner closely with product, marketing, analytics, legal, and executive teams to ensure accurate, compelling, and strategically aligned messaging that supports thought leadership, executive visibility, and brand positioning in the B2B technology and financial services landscape.
- • What the person will do day to day:
- • Drive brand, product, and vertical industry storytelling that clearly communicates the value of FICO’s technology and analytics solutions to diverse audiences.
- • Support thought leadership efforts by conducting intake calls with executives, crafting media pitches, and preparing leaders for conferences, media interviews, and customer engagements.
- • Draft and refine press releases, Q&As, talking points, media strategies, and executive briefing materials to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all platforms.
- • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, manage inbound inquiries, proactively pitch FICO news, and staff interviews as needed to secure high-impact coverage.
- • Support content development across owned channels, including blog posts, executive bylines, and narrative frameworks that reinforce FICO’s position as a leader in analytics and AI.
- • Assist in managing external PR agencies by providing clear direction, fostering collaboration, and ensuring timely delivery of projects and adherence to deadlines.
- • Coordinate executive interviews, prepare spokespeople with key messages and anticipatory Q&A, and provide on-site support at events and speaking engagements.
- • Partner with cross-functional teams—including product, analytics, legal, and marketing—to gather insights, validate technical accuracy, and ensure alignment in all communications.
- • Monitor media coverage, track progress against KPIs, and provide regular reporting and insights to internal stakeholders to measure the impact of communications efforts.
- • Oversee awards programs by identifying relevant opportunities, drafting award submissions, and managing the end-to-end submission process.
- • Stay current on technology and industry trends, identifying opportunities to insert FICO into relevant conversations and anticipate emerging topics that could impact brand perception.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- • 4-5+ years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications, preferably in B2B tech and/or financial services, with agency experience preferred.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics and tailor messaging for diverse media and stakeholder audiences.
