📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of Forward Deployed Engineers delivering production systems with frontier AI models in partnership with customers to turn research breakthroughs into real-world systems.
• Own end-to-end delivery outcomes through clarity, speed, tight coordination, and technical quality, ensuring high-stakes customer deployments succeed under pressure.
• Partner closely with Product, Research, Sales, and GTM teams to translate field insights into roadmap priorities, drive exploration, and support safe, scalable deployment of AI systems.
• Define how field teams are staffed and supported to scale without added complexity, while setting a high bar for performance and enabling team growth through direct, actionable feedback.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering or technical delivery experience, including 2+ years managing high-performing Forward Deployed or customer-facing engineers.
• Proven ability to lead high-pressure technical projects from prototype to production.
• Experience writing and reviewing production-grade code in JavaScript or Python across frontend and backend systems.
• Skill in simplifying complex work and making fast, sound decisions under pressure in ambiguous or evolving environments.
• Ability to translate field experience into sharp, actionable feedback for Product and Research teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build deep team trust through calm, focused, and judgment-driven leadership.
