- • Lead and manage Provider Network teams responsible for implementation and operational management of provider data, relationships, and system enhancements to maintain and grow VSP’s provider network.
- • Direct strategic initiatives to define, develop, and deliver new systems, processes, and training programs that support provider network stability and growth.
- • Develop and oversee a comprehensive dashboard to monitor data integrity, quality metrics, and provider relations performance within the Network Development team.
- • Ensure operational readiness by conducting business impact assessments, business analysis, and implementation of corporate and divisional projects.
- • Partner with Legal to review and develop vendor contracts, unique practice ownership scenarios, and manage provider escalations.
- • Deploy and deliver insurance and regulatory training content to providers and their staff to ensure compliance and operational alignment.
- • Maintain provider network standards and appropriate access controls to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
- • Collaborate closely with SBU teams, payment and product integration units, and regulatory compliance departments to align network operations with organizational goals.
- • Monitor and evaluate team performance through objective coaching, counseling, performance reviews, and recommendations for salary adjustments.
- • Participate in hiring and interviewing processes to select the most qualified candidates for open positions within the Network Development team.
- • Maintain effective internal communications by informing employees of plans, progress, and organizational changes through regular discussion sessions.
- • Manage the department budget, monitor expenses, and ensure all spending remains within established financial limits.
- • Communicate strategic goals and the impact of team efforts to align with divisional and organizational objectives.
- • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in resolving complex operational, contractual, and compliance issues across multiple stakeholders.
- • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional teams and drive results in a highly regulated environment.
- • Travel as required to support operational needs, stakeholder meetings, and training initiatives.
- • Apply knowledge of healthcare industry practices, contractual documents, policies, and procedures to guide decision-making and operational improvements.
- • Coordinate multiple complex projects requiring high initiative, cross-departmental collaboration, and independent action to meet organizational priorities.
