• • To propel this mission forward, Virta Health is seeking a seasoned and inspiring leader to establish and manage a team of dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Coaches. This role is a unique opportunity to blend clinical expertise with strong leadership, acting as both a player and a coach within a dynamic, growth-stage healthcare organization.
• • As a Manager, Nurse Coach, you will be instrumental in building and nurturing a high-performing team of 10-15 full-time nurse coaches. Your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive team management, including overseeing Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) initiatives, providing direct supervision, managing complex scheduling to optimize patient throughput, and collaborating with our administrative team to ensure seamless licensure management for all team members. This role demands a leader who can foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and exceptional patient care.
• • A core tenet of this position is the "player-coach" model. You will dedicate approximately half of your time to direct patient care, leveraging your clinical skills to support patients on their health journeys. The remaining half will be focused on leadership and management activities, ensuring your team operates at peak efficiency and effectiveness. This dual focus allows you to stay connected to the front lines of care delivery while guiding and developing your team.
• • Your management duties will be diverse and impactful, including but not limited to:
• • Ensuring daily schedule hygiene for your assigned nursing team to maximize applicant throughput and patient access.
• • Proactively monitoring and strategically assigning provider support requests and critical initiatives to ensure timely resolution and optimal resource allocation.
• • Contributing to the continuous refinement and enhancement of our clinical intake workflow, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
• • Delivering timely, constructive, and actionable feedback to team members to foster professional growth and maintain high standards of care.
• • Leading engaging and productive weekly POD (Point of Delivery) meetings with your team to discuss progress, challenges, and best practices.
• • Collaborating closely with the Head of Nursing and Clinical Leads to conceptualize, develop, and implement innovative quality initiatives that elevate patient outcomes and experiences.
• • Maintaining an unwavering commitment to delivering care of the highest caliber, ensuring every patient receives an exceptional and supportive experience.
