📋 Description

• Lead and scale the central IT function across San Francisco and Asia, managing a distributed team with day-to-day operations in China overseen by an in-country deputy.
• Own end-to-end management of core enterprise tools including identity/SSO, MDM/endpoint, and the SaaS stack (Slack, Notion, Linear, Google Workspace).
• Execute the migration from Feishu to Slack and Notion with zero downtime during each cutover, ensuring seamless continuity for global users.
• Implement automated identity and access management systems including SSO/SCIM provisioning, MFA enforcement, and least-privilege access controls.
• Operate and optimize the IT service desk with defined SLAs and AI-driven ticket deflection to improve response efficiency and user satisfaction.
• Manage full asset lifecycle operations including procurement, distribution, tracking, and secure offboarding of all company devices and licenses.
• Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely provisioning and deprovisioning of systems and access rights.
• Set IT standards and make strategic build-vs-buy decisions for tools and processes based on scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Drive adoption and training for new enterprise tools across global teams, ensuring high engagement and compliance with security policies.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, and EN 18031 standards across all IT systems and data handling practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align IT infrastructure with product development, security, and global expansion goals.
• Monitor and improve IT operational metrics including system uptime, incident resolution time, and user support satisfaction.
• Stay current on emerging enterprise SaaS tools and AI-powered IT solutions to continuously enhance productivity and security posture.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related escalations and strategic initiatives within the company.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in IT with 4+ years leading teams, ideally as Head of IT or IT Manager at a fast-scaling, multi-office company
• Hands-on expertise in identity & access management (SSO/IAM, SCIM), MDM/endpoint, and administration of core SaaS tools (Slack, Notion, Okta, Rippling)
• Proven experience leading end-to-end enterprise tool migrations with zero downtime, from selection through adoption
• Strong track record in IT service management including service desk operations, SLAs, asset lifecycle, and onboarding/offboarding
• Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Comfort and proficiency with compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA
