• • Manager, Payor Strategy and Contracting at Wheel Health Inc. is a high-impact, externally facing role responsible for architecting and executing payer strategy during a critical growth phase, directly tied to revenue, margin, and scalability.
• • Day to day, the role involves leading end-to-end negotiation of payer agreements (FFS, value-based, risk-bearing, hybrid models), driving rate optimization, reviewing contract language, building reporting tools for leadership visibility, and serving as the central quarterback across Legal, Finance, Clinical, and Ops to structure and finalize deals.
• • Wheel Health Inc. is evolving the traditional care ecosystem by providing innovative companies with a premier platform to deliver high-quality virtual care at scale, offering configurable virtual care programs, an intuitive consumer interface, and access to a nationwide network of board-certified clinicians.
• • The person in this role can learn to translate innovative care models into compelling payer value propositions, align contracting strategy with financial models and pricing strategy, build internal operating models for scalable payer contracting, and strengthen senior-level relationships with national and regional health plans to position Wheel for long-term partnership.
