- • Lead, inspire, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of product designers who are shaping the future of ActiveCampaign’s AI-first marketing platform. You will set the bar for craft, foster psychological safety, and create clear growth paths that turn individual contributors into confident design leaders.
- • Own and evolve our design system as a living, strategic asset. You’ll audit existing components, define token architecture, codify accessibility standards, and institute governance models that allow hundreds of product surfaces to stay visually coherent and technically scalable.
- • Champion AI-native design practices across every stage of the product lifecycle. From prompting LLMs to generate rapid prototypes to embedding AI copilots in Figma workflows, you will pilot experiments, document playbooks, and coach designers to treat AI as a creative accelerator rather than a threat.
- • Translate complex platform requirements into elegant, goal-oriented user experiences. You’ll facilitate cross-functional workshops that map customer journeys, identify high-impact opportunities, and align design decisions directly to revenue, retention, and expansion metrics.
- • Drive operational excellence without sacrificing craft. You will scope quarterly OKRs, balance team capacity against roadmap demands, and implement lightweight rituals—critiques, design QA, post-launch retros—that keep velocity high and burnout low.
- • Instill a data-informed culture by embedding usability testing, telemetry, and customer feedback loops into every sprint. You’ll teach designers to frame hypotheses, interpret mixed-method research, and iterate until measurable customer outcomes improve.
- • Represent design at the executive table. You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing leadership to influence strategic priorities, secure resources, and evangelize the ROI of great design to stakeholders across the globe.
- • Foster inclusive design practices that celebrate ActiveCampaign’s multicultural customer base. You’ll ensure every component, pattern, and workflow meets WCAG 2.2 standards and reflects the diverse voices of the 180k+ businesses that rely on our platform.
- • Scale yourself through systems thinking. Whether you’re documenting decision trees for color usage or creating self-serve onboarding kits for new designers, you’ll build artifacts that let the team move faster in your absence.
- • Stay curious. You’ll block time each week to explore emerging tools—generative UI platforms, accessibility automation, code-to-design plugins—and bring back actionable insights that future-proof our design operations.
