- • As a Manager, Recruiting at USAA, you will lead and manage a team of recruiters to drive effective talent acquisition strategies that support the hiring needs of critical business lines, serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders on talent market trends and ensuring alignment with USAA’s overall talent acquisition strategy.
- • You will mentor and coach recruiters, build strong relationships with business stakeholders, develop and execute recruiting strategies, assess team performance using key metrics like time-to-fill and cost-per-hire, leverage data and analytics for decision-making, streamline recruiting processes, champion the use of recruiting technologies (including ATS, CRM, and AI-enabled tools), manage recruiting budgets and vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and risk policies.

- • You will develop advanced leadership and strategic influencing skills, gain experience managing full-cycle recruiting operations in complex corporate environments, enhance your proficiency with enterprise recruiting technologies and analytics platforms, and contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency and candidate/hiring manager satisfaction.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4 years of related experience may substitute for a degree)
- • 6 years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field, including full-cycle recruiting and involvement in hiring strategy or process improvement
- • 2 years of experience leading others, either formally as a manager or informally as a team or project lead
- • Strong understanding of talent market trends, recruiting best practices, and employment laws and regulations
- • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with proven ability to build relationships with business leaders
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including proficiency in interpreting data and using ATS and other recruiting technologies
