- • Lead and develop a team of Mid-Enterprise Sales Engineers to support Horizon3.ai’s growing customer base in the mid-market and enterprise segments.
- • Hire, coach, and mentor Sales Engineers to foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and customer-centricity.
- • Establish and enforce best practices for discovery calls, technical demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements, and technical deal strategy.
- • Coach the Sales Engineering team through complex sales opportunities, competitive situations, and high-stakes customer engagements.
- • Partner closely with Sales leadership to drive pipeline progression, improve technical win rates, and align on strategic customer accounts.
- • Build scalable onboarding programs, sales playbooks, and repeatable sales engineering processes to enable team growth and operational efficiency.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Enablement teams to translate field feedback into product improvements and customer outcomes.
- • Ensure the Mid-Enterprise Sales Engineering team consistently delivers high-quality, trusted advisor-level customer experiences throughout the buying journey.
- • Drive improvements in technical win rates and proof-of-value success rates through structured coaching, process refinement, and performance tracking.
- • Maintain strong alignment between Sales Engineering activities and company-wide goals for customer retention, expansion, and satisfaction.
- • Represent Horizon3.ai’s NodeZero platform in technical discussions with IT/SecOps teams, consulting pentesters, MSSPs, and MSPs across diverse industries including government, education, and Global 100 enterprises.
- • Operate within a fast-paced, high-growth cybersecurity environment focused on autonomous pentesting, vulnerability management, and eliminating alert fatigue and blind spots.
- • Support the company’s mission of enabling organizations to proactively find and fix exploitable attack vectors before criminals exploit them.
- • Maintain compliance with U.S. EST or CST time zone requirements to ensure effective collaboration with sales and customer teams across North America.
- • Contribute to a culture of respect, collaboration, ownership, and results as part of a team composed of former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators, startup engineers, and cybersecurity practitioners.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Solutions Architecture within cybersecurity
- • 2+ years of people leadership experience managing customer-facing technical teams
- • Experience supporting Mid-Market, Mid-Enterprise, and Enterprise sales motions
- • Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including vulnerability management, identity, cloud security, and security operations
- • Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
- • Located in U.S. EST or CST Time Zone
