- • As Manager/Senior Manager, Credit Strategy at Koho Financial Inc., you will own and evolve the lending and credit strategy across Koho’s full suite of lending products, directly impacting financial inclusion and responsible credit access for Canadians.
- • Day to day, you will analyze credit policies and customer segmentation, build financial models to assess risk-return trade-offs, monitor portfolio performance and macroeconomic trends, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Risk teams to implement data-driven credit decisions.
- • Koho is a remote-first, mission-driven fintech focused on making financial services better for Canadians through transparent, fee-free products that empower users to spend smart, save more, and build wealth, prioritizing work-life integration and high-trust autonomy.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in consumer credit risk, develop advanced segmentation and modelling skills, influence senior leadership with clear recommendations, and contribute to strategic portfolio growth while maintaining sound risk practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3-5+ years of experience in consumer credit strategy, credit risk management, or related quantitative roles within a bank, fintech, or lending-focused company
- • Proven experience designing and optimizing credit policies and customer segmentation for consumer lending products (e.g., credit cards, personal loans, lines of credit, BNPL)
- • Strong quantitative skills — comfortable building financial models, running cohort analyses, and interpreting statistical outputs independently
- • Proficiency in SQL; experience with Python or R is a strong asset
- • Demonstrated ability to translate complex analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendations for senior audiences
- • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Risk teams
