📋 Description

• Manage and scale Airwallex’s global technical SEO strategy to drive high-intent organic traffic and support revenue growth across international markets.
• Partner with Engineering teams to scope, prioritize, and execute technical SEO improvements including structured data (JSON-LD), internal linking architecture, and international SEO implementation (hreflang, localization).
• Proactively identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, redirect chains, canonicalization problems, duplicate content, and rendering issues (SSR vs. SSG) using tools like Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and server log analysis.
• Implement front-end technical fixes directly within the company’s React/Next.js stack using clean, semantic HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript to optimize page structure and search engine visibility.
• Lead comprehensive site audits focused on indexation efficiency, crawl budget optimization, and URL structure rationalization to ensure scalable SEO performance.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) and overall page speed across devices and global regions to improve user experience and search rankings.
• Support conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives by designing and measuring SEO A/B tests to validate the organic impact of template and structural changes.
• Build and maintain monitoring dashboards using Google Search Console API, GA4, Lighthouse, and WebPageTest to track technical SEO KPIs and report performance to stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth Marketing, Content Marketing, Product, RevOps, Data, and Engineering teams to align technical SEO efforts with broader business goals.
• Ensure technical site integrity supports off-site backlink authority growth by maintaining clean site architecture and avoiding crawl traps or indexing barriers.
• Communicate complex technical SEO concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders to drive alignment and secure buy-in for prioritized initiatives.
• Contribute to the technical SEO roadmap under the direction of the Director of SEO, balancing long-term strategy with urgent, high-impact fixes.
• Stay current with evolving search engine algorithms, web technologies, and SEO best practices to maintain Airwallex’s competitive edge in global organic search.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of SEO experience, with at least 2+ years specifically in a technical SEO role (preferably in-house for B2B, SaaS, or Fintech)
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript as they relate to the critical rendering path and how search bots parse code
• Familiarity with modern web architectures, including Headless CMS, SPAs, and React/Next.js frameworks
• Proven track record with international SEO and multi-language/multi-domain strategies at scale
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn raw data into technical insights and business actions
• Deep knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and web performance tools (Lighthouse, WebPageTest)
