• • The Managing Consultant – Quality – Infection Prevention - Healthcare role is a senior advisory position within Berkeley Research Group’s Integrated Health Solutions practice, focused on driving measurable improvements in hospital quality, patient safety, and clinical performance through evidence-based strategies.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as a subject matter expert on hospital quality and infection prevention, analyzing clinical data from CMS Care Compare, NHSN, QNet, and internal systems to identify performance gaps, designing and implementing workplans for infection reduction, sepsis care, surgical quality, and readmissions reduction, supporting regulatory readiness with state and federal agencies, translating complex data into actionable insights for clinical and executive leaders, monitoring initiative outcomes, and facilitating cross-departmental collaboration to sustain improvements.
• • The role operates within BRG’s Clinical and Quality Transformation (CQT) team, which partners with healthcare providers, payers, and investors to enhance clinical quality, operational efficiency, and financial performance using deep clinical expertise, data analytics, and change management methodologies led by seasoned healthcare professionals.
• • The consultant will develop expertise in healthcare performance improvement, gain exposure to national quality reporting systems, lead multidisciplinary quality initiatives, and build a track record of improving hospital outcomes while working remotely with frequent client travel (50-75%).
