• • The Managing Consultant – Quality – Patient Experience (HCAHPS) Improvement – Healthcare role is a senior advisory position within BRG’s Integrated Health Solutions practice, focused on driving measurable improvements in hospital quality, patient safety, and performance on national scorecards like CMS Care Compare. This role matters because it directly impacts patient outcomes, hospital reputation, and operational efficiency by translating complex clinical data into actionable improvement strategies for acute care providers.
• • Day to day, the consultant will serve as a subject matter expert analyzing clinical quality data from CMS Care Compare, NHSN, QNet, and internal hospital systems; design and implement workplans targeting infection prevention, sepsis care, surgical quality, complications, mortality, and readmissions; support regulatory readiness with state and federal agencies; translate data into actionable insights for hospital leadership; monitor initiative outcomes using quantitative and qualitative measures; and lead or support quality committees and cross-functional teams to align improvement efforts with organizational goals.
• • The Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) practice at BRG is led by seasoned healthcare executives, clinicians, and operators who partner with hospitals, payers, and investors to solve complex strategic, operational, financial, and clinical challenges. The Clinical and Quality Transformation (CQT) team specializes in evidence-based best practices to improve clinical quality, operational efficiency, and care delivery, helping hospitals reduce complications and mortality, optimize surgery and emergency department performance, and strengthen clinical documentation and coding.
• • In this role, the consultant will deepen expertise in healthcare quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and data-driven performance optimization; develop leadership and facilitation skills working with multidisciplinary hospital teams; gain exposure to national quality reporting systems and advanced analytics; and contribute to tangible improvements in patient care, safety, and hospital performance while building a reputation as a trusted advisor in healthcare transformation.
