  • • As a Managing Partner for Gartner Consulting, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic IT initiatives for a dedicated portfolio of state and local government clients within the Los Angeles and Orange County regions, managing a significant book of business valued at $2-$3 million.
  • • This pivotal role involves cultivating and expanding Gartner's relationships with these key public sector entities, acting as a trusted advisor at the highest executive levels.
  • • You will be instrumental in guiding clients through complex technology landscapes, translating Gartner's unparalleled research and advisory insights into actionable strategies that address their mission-critical priorities and drive tangible business outcomes.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass both the strategic vision and the tactical execution of client engagements, ensuring that technology serves as a powerful enabler for government operations and citizen services.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Gartner's Expert Partners and other internal stakeholders to architect and deliver bespoke solutions tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities faced by state and local government organizations.
  • • The scope of your advisory work will span a wide array of critical areas, including but not limited to: Digital Acceleration and Transformation, Enterprise Enablement, Big Data and Analytics, Applications Rationalization, Cloud Strategy, Sourcing and Ecosystem Optimization, Security and Risk Management, Benchmarking, and Contract and Cost Optimization.
  • • A core aspect of your role will be to lead and inspire high-performing teams, fostering an environment where both technical and non-technical professionals are motivated towards a shared vision and common goals.
  • • You will be expected to demonstrate a consistent track record of leading people, building cohesive and effective teams that are adept at leveraging technology to achieve public sector objectives.
  • • This position requires a proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
  • • You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities within your client portfolio, driving sales efforts, and ensuring the successful delivery of consulting projects that generate significant value.
  • • The role demands a deep understanding of the public sector's unique procurement processes, political landscapes, and operational challenges, coupled with a strategic vision for how technology can address these.
  • • You will leverage Gartner's extensive resources and methodologies, adapting them to the specific needs of each client to effectively tackle their most pressing business challenges.
  • • A key performance indicator will be your proven ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets, demonstrating strong sales acumen and client relationship management skills.
