📋 Description

• • Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases for the SIMBA Team, ensuring strong functional coverage across core user flows and edge cases.
• • Perform hands-on manual testing across browsers and devices to validate new features, bug fixes, and releases.
• • Collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to identify, reproduce, isolate, and document defects, providing clear steps, expected vs. actual results, and supporting evidence.
• • Maintain clear and organized QA documentation, including test cases, regression suites, test reports, and release validation summaries.
• • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure issues are triaged correctly and prioritized based on user impact.
• • Participate in Agile workflows including daily standups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives, ensuring QA is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
• • Execute regression testing and release validation to ensure product quality and stability prior to launch.
• • Continuously identify ways to improve manual QA processes, test coverage, and communication between teams.
• • Validate functionality of web applications with a focus on user experience, performance, and consistency across platforms.
• • Use browser developer tools to assist with debugging, inspecting network requests, and reproducing issues.
• • Document and track defects using Jira, Linear, or similar project management and bug tracking systems.
• • Ensure compliance with industry QA standards and contribute to evolving testing practices within the team.
• • Support the delivery of high-quality releases by validating functionality in alignment with product requirements and customer expectations.
• • Maintain awareness of testing trends and industry best practices to enhance the effectiveness of manual QA efforts.
• • Work in a fast-moving startup environment where quality assurance directly impacts customer satisfaction and product success.
• • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on product goals and quality benchmarks.
• • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA workflows by proposing enhancements to test coverage, documentation clarity, and defect resolution processes.
