- • As a Market Manager at Vision Service Plan, you will initiate, develop, lead, and manage marketing strategies, positioning, initiatives, and programs in support of company objectives, playing a critical role in driving market-specific growth and brand alignment.
- • Day to day, you will develop marketing strategies for specific customer segments including brokers, clients, consumers, and providers; measure marketing plan results including ROI; identify segment expectations, needs, behaviors, and attitudes through primary and secondary research; develop and manage marketing and advertising campaigns across digital, print, direct mail, and email channels; collaborate with communications managers to align positioning and promotion; partner with business areas to execute and gain adoption of programs in the field and at the account level; serve as a central resource for brand-related information; educate business partners on brand issues and opportunities; establish short- and long-term goals, competitive positions, and strategies; develop and deploy programs to maximize distribution channels, increase business opportunities, and improve retention; set direction for project teams and influence stakeholders to ensure products, services, and marketing programs meet segment needs; and establish goals and targets to measure program success.
- • You will join Vision Service Plan, a mission-driven organization focused on vision care and eye health, working within a collaborative marketing team that partners closely with sales, product development, and communications to deliver targeted, data-informed marketing initiatives that support business growth and customer engagement.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in segment-specific marketing strategy, campaign management across multiple channels, ROI measurement, stakeholder influence, and brand stewardship; you will gain leadership experience in guiding cross-functional initiatives and shaping market positioning, while building strategic planning and analytical skills that support long-term career growth in marketing and business leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- • 4+ years of marketing experience, preferably customer-focused experience with specific market segment
- • 4+ years of demonstrated experience with program management and leadership skills including the ability to recommend strategic direction and influence change
- • 4+ years of advanced understanding of marketing concepts, theories, and practices
- • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
