- • As a Market Research Manager at Collectors Universe, Inc., you will serve as the engine behind understanding customers and the card collecting market, moving beyond surface-level trends to uncover the 'why' that drives strategic decisions in marketing, product, and business.
- • Day to day, you will independently lead end-to-end research projects—designing, recruiting, conducting fieldwork, moderating sessions, and reporting insights to stakeholders—while owning brand health tracking programs and leading custom studies on customer attitudes, concept testing, competitive analysis, and churn.
- • You will join the Customer Insights team at a global leader in collectibles authentication and grading, with subsidiaries including PSA, PCGS, Beckett, and SGC, serving passionate collectors across trading cards, comics, coins, video games, and more from headquarters in Santa Ana and offices worldwide.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in advanced quantitative and qualitative methodologies, influence high-stakes business decisions with actionable insights, and grow as a strategic partner to Marketing, Product, Growth, Finance, and senior executives in a mission-driven, innovative organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in market research at an agency or client-side organization
- • Strong expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, with emphasis on survey design, sampling, weighting, data processing, and interview moderation; experience with MaxDiff, conjoint, or segmentation analysis is a plus
- • Proficiency with survey platforms (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Alchemer, etc.) and familiarity with statistical software (SPSS, DisplayR, Q, etc.)
- • Exceptional attention to detail in data hygiene, including survey logic proofing, link testing, and QA
- • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, uncover narratives, and deliver actionable, story-driven insights to influence stakeholders
