- • As a Marketing Communications Apprentice at The Orchard (Sony Music Entertainment), you will embark on a dynamic apprenticeship in marketing communications, gaining hands-on experience in the music industry while supporting label and artist growth through strategic marketing and distribution.
- • Day to day, you will assist in content creation, plan and execute social media campaigns, analyze KPIs to optimize content strategy, support marketing campaign planning and release preparations, collaborate with sales teams on pitch materials for streaming platforms, contribute to event organization, and handle administrative tasks while working closely with national and international teams, labels, and external partners.
- • The Orchard is a global leader in label and artist distribution and artist services, operating over 47 offices worldwide. The Hamburg-based GSA team combines music passion with expertise to help artists navigate and grow sustainably in the local and global music industry through innovative technology, transparent data analysis, and comprehensive services spanning digital/physical distribution, marketing, advertising, sync, brand partnerships, rights management, video monetization, licensing, and publishing administration.
- • Through this apprenticeship, you will develop practical skills in marketing communications, audience development, product management, digital and physical distribution, and controlling. You will gain deep industry insights, build a professional network in the music business, and lay the foundation for a sustainable career in music marketing and communications.
🎯 Requirements
- • Completion of (Fach-)Hochschulreife (high school diploma or equivalent)
- • Passion for current music trends, artists, and digital market developments
- • Strong organizational skills and enjoyment in communicating with diverse partners
- • Very good German and English language skills
- • First experience with social media, digital tools, or content creation (advantageous)
