  • • Innodata, a leading data engineering company and the AI technology solutions provider-of-choice for four out of five of the world's largest technology firms, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Data Analyst for a 6-month contract role. With a global presence and a commitment to leveraging advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence, Innodata is at the forefront of delivering clean and optimized digital data solutions across various industries, including financial services, insurance, technology, law, and medicine. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a company poised for significant growth and to apply your data analysis expertise in a dynamic, remote environment.
  • • As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic marketing decisions and optimize campaign performance. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of data collection, analysis, reporting, and visualization, ensuring that marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives and deliver maximum return on investment (ROI). Your work will directly influence campaign strategies, budget allocation, and the overall effectiveness of our marketing initiatives.
  • • Key responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of data-driven marketing activities. You will be tasked with gathering and meticulously analyzing data from a diverse range of sources. This includes, but is not limited to, web analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics), social media engagement metrics, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and other relevant marketing touchpoints. The primary objective of this data collection and analysis is to identify significant trends, uncover underlying patterns, and extract meaningful insights that illuminate consumer behavior and campaign effectiveness.
  • • A core component of this role involves campaign optimization. You will continuously monitor the overall performance of marketing campaigns, with a keen focus on evaluating the ROI of direct marketing spend. This will involve developing and implementing robust A/B testing methodologies to systematically refine campaign strategies, test hypotheses, and identify the most effective approaches for audience engagement and conversion. Your insights will be crucial in making data-backed recommendations for budget allocation and channel optimization.
  • • Effective communication of findings is paramount. You will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and compelling dashboards, comprehensive reports, and impactful presentations. Utilizing data visualization tools such as Tableau or advanced Excel functionalities, you will translate complex data sets into easily understandable formats for various stakeholders, including marketing leadership, sales teams, and product development.
  • • Furthermore, this role requires a proactive approach to market research. You will conduct thorough analyses of competitor activities, emerging market trends, and evolving consumer buying intentions. This intelligence gathering will provide a critical foundation for informing and shaping future marketing strategies, ensuring Innodata remains competitive and responsive to market dynamics.
  • • Collaboration is key to success in this position. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development. Your role will be to bridge the gap between data and strategy, translating complex analytical findings into actionable insights and concrete strategic recommendations that align with broader business goals. This collaborative effort ensures that data-driven insights are effectively integrated into all aspects of the marketing and business development process.
  • • This contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact within a leading data engineering firm. You will leverage your analytical prowess to enhance marketing effectiveness, contribute to strategic planning, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The remote nature of this role provides flexibility and allows you to contribute from anywhere, making it an ideal opportunity for experienced data professionals seeking a challenging and rewarding contract engagement.
