Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Lead the end-to-end marketing function for Infracost, including strategy development, execution, and performance optimization to drive customer acquisition and brand awareness.
- • Own and iterate on the marketing funnel and KPI dashboard, using data to guide decisions and measure campaign effectiveness.
- • Create and maintain the marketing calendar, ensuring alignment across campaigns, product launches, events, and content releases.
- • Develop and produce high-quality marketing content including website copy, blog posts, case studies, email campaigns, social media assets, and video scripts.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and sales teams to gather insights, coordinate demos, organize webinars, and co-create promotional materials.
- • Plan and execute participation in key industry events, including FinOps X in San Diego, and coordinate internal resources for booth setup, content, and attendee engagement.
- • Build and manage relationships with external contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver marketing assets on time and within scope.
- • Experiment with new marketing channels and tactics, prioritizing action over perfection, and iterating quickly based on real-world results.
- • In the first 30 days, onboard into Infracost’s current marketing systems, review funnels and KPIs, and conduct cross-team meetings to understand product and customer context.
- • By day 60, lead your first end-to-end marketing campaign from brief to analysis, presenting results and refining the next quarter’s plan with leadership.
- • By day 90, be fully operational in driving multiple concurrent campaigns, optimizing performance, and planning strategic initiatives for growth.
- • As the team scales, build and lead a small, high-performing marketing team around you, defining roles, processes, and workflows.
- • Communicate complex technical concepts (FinOps, cloud infrastructure, developer tools) clearly to technical audiences without requiring engineering expertise.
- • Maintain and optimize marketing tools including Close (CRM), CommonRoom, Google Analytics, and Mailchimp, with willingness to learn new platforms quickly.
- • Embody the company’s cultural pillars: prioritize customer success as your own, practice radical transparency, and embody the JEDI principle — Just Effing Do It.
- • Balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, wearing multiple hats typical of a fast-moving startup environment.
- • Actively contribute ideas across marketing, product, and sales functions, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS or developer tools
- • Proven ability to own and drive pipeline as a solo marketer in a small team
- • Strong project management experience running email campaigns, GTM campaigns, and sales enablement initiatives
- • Bias toward action: prefer shipping imperfect solutions and iterating over waiting for perfection
- • Comfortable marketing to technical audiences — able to earn respect without being an engineer
- • Strong writer capable of producing clear, credible copy across website, email, long-form, and social formats
- • Hands-on experience with marketing tools such as Close, CommonRoom, Google Analytics, and Mailchimp
- • Experience with FinOps, developer tools, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure is a strong plus
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote team
- • Two company meetups per year (past locations include Croatia, Barcelona, Berlin, San Diego, and Orlando)
- • Employee-friendly equity terms with a 10-year exercise window
- • 401k matching for US employees
- • Health, dental, and vision insurance for US employees
- • 31 days paid leave per year (including national holidays)
- • 12 weeks paid parental leave

About Infracost Inc.
Infracost Inc. provides cloud cost estimation for infrastructure-as-code. Its open-source CLI plugs into Terraform, CloudFormation and Pulumi workflows to parse planned changes, query public cloud price APIs, and display line-item cost impacts before deployment. The SaaS platform adds policy guardrails, budget alerts, dashboards and pull-request integrations so engineering teams can see, control and optimize AWS, Azure and Google spending within existing CI/CD pipelines.
