📋 Description

• The Faculty Events Marketing Manager supports the planning and execution of marketing events that drive awareness, engagement, and demand for Cengage and its products, playing a key role in connecting faculty with educational resources that enhance student learning outcomes.
• Day to day, the person will execute assigned aspects of marketing events including conferences, webinars, field events, sponsored events, and hosted experiences; participate in developing event concepts and identifying target audiences; coordinate logistics such as booking, travel, hospitality, and on-site needs; support budget tracking and ROI monitoring in SFDC; oversee vendor coordination, staffing, and equipment rentals; and monitor third-party resources while executing short-term assignments with independent judgment under supervisory review.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a similar area, or equivalent professional experience
• Typically requires 2+ years of dynamically complex experience in event marketing, field marketing, or a related subject area
• Working knowledge of event marketing and experiential marketing concepts, including event planning, coordination, and managing activities on location
• Ability to manage multiple event workstreams and resolve problems or roadblocks as they arise
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage urgent, time-sensitive projects, timelines, vendors, and budgets
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to deliver event objectives
