- • This role involves providing expert Polish-to-Lithuanian translation services for a major beauty and cosmetics client, with a focus on either marketing and sales content or regulatory and compliance materials, depending on the linguist’s specialization.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include translating and localizing consumer-facing marketing content with attention to brand voice and tone, or performing highly technical regulatory translations involving EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, INCI naming, claims substantiation, and final label artwork reviews before printing.
- • Lilt Production is a global leader in AI-powered translation and human-verified language services, working with enterprises, governments, and AI developers to advance multilingual communication through innovation and a distributed network of expert linguists.
- • The linguist will have the opportunity to deepen expertise in beauty and cosmetics localization, gain experience with regulated industries, contribute to cutting-edge AI language projects, and expand their professional portfolio across diverse domains while working independently.
🎯 Requirements
- • Native-level proficiency in Lithuanian (target language)
- • Graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a graduate in another field plus 2 years of professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience
- • Proven professional experience in translating and localizing beauty and cosmetics content
- • Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely
- • For regulatory stream: deep familiarity with EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and INCI naming conventions
