  • • Deel is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Marketing Science Lead to join our dynamic Growth team. This pivotal role is designed for an individual passionate about leveraging data to drive significant marketing performance improvements. As the architect of our "Test and Learn" ecosystem, you will be instrumental in optimizing our substantial annual marketing spend, which exceeds $100 million. Your primary mission will be to ensure every marketing dollar is strategically deployed and rigorously validated through statistical testing, translating complex data insights into actionable, high-growth strategies for our search and paid social teams. This isn't just about spending money; it's about scaling intelligently and ensuring maximum return on investment.
  • • You will be responsible for designing and leading a high-velocity A/B and multivariate testing roadmap. This roadmap will encompass a wide array of marketing elements, including different channels, campaign types, ad creatives, and audience segments. The goal is to systematically identify what works best and implement those learnings at scale. Your expertise in experimentation methodology will be crucial in setting up tests that are statistically sound, yielding reliable and actionable results.
  • • As the "strategic pulse" for the Paid Marketing team, you will provide data-backed briefs that offer clear, concise guidance to Channel Managers. These briefs will dictate precisely where to pivot spend based on the outcomes of your tests, ensuring agility and responsiveness to performance data. You will move beyond standard reporting to actively "mine" data for untapped growth levers, identifying subtle patterns and trends that indicate potential for significant expansion. Your role will involve proposing the business case for these new opportunities, supported by robust data analysis.
  • • Staying at the bleeding edge of ad platform capabilities is a key aspect of this role. You will continuously explore and experiment with "alpha/beta" features on platforms like Google, Meta, and LinkedIn. This includes delving into advanced bidding strategies such as Value-Based Bidding and PMax experimentation, ensuring that Deel's marketing technology stack remains consistently ahead of industry benchmarks and leverages the latest innovations for optimal performance.
  • • A critical responsibility will be the continuous refinement of our advanced attribution models, including Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) and Media Mix Modeling (MMM). The objective is to accurately measure the incremental impact of our marketing efforts across the entire, often non-linear, B2B buyer journey. This deep understanding of attribution will allow us to allocate budget more effectively and understand the true drivers of growth.
  • • You will also partner closely with our Analytics Engineering team to build clean, scalable data models within our Snowflake environment, utilizing dbt. These models will specifically track experiment lift and incrementalities, with their performance metrics presented clearly in dashboards. This collaborative effort ensures that our data infrastructure is robust, reliable, and directly supports our growth marketing objectives.
  • • This role demands a proactive, curious, and growth-oriented mindset. You will be expected to identify opportunities, challenge existing assumptions, and continuously seek ways to improve our marketing effectiveness. The ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential for success. You will be a key player in shaping the future of Deel's growth marketing strategy, contributing directly to our mission of unlocking global opportunity for every person, team, and business.
