📋 Description
- • Design advanced mathematical problems to train and evaluate frontier AI models with a focus on deep reasoning capabilities
- • Create deterministic problems that have exactly one verifiable correct answer, ensuring technical precision and reproducibility
- • Develop problems that test genuine mathematical understanding, not rote memorization or pattern recognition
- • Write complete, verified solutions for every problem, including step-by-step reasoning and logical justification
- • Document all problem-solving processes clearly and rigorously in English to support AI training and evaluation pipelines
- • Use Python and computational tools such as numpy, scipy, or pandas to build and validate mathematical workflows where applicable
- • Ensure all outputs meet high standards of technical accuracy, clarity, and consistency for use by leading AI research labs
- • Contribute to the creation of high-quality STEM training data used directly in AI model development and benchmarking
- • Collaborate remotely with a global team to refine problem sets and align with evolving AI evaluation standards
- • Maintain strict adherence to problem design principles: no ambiguity, no multiple solutions, no open-ended responses
- • Deliver problems across core mathematical domains including algebra, analysis, combinatorics, number theory, and applied mathematics
- • Review and validate computational outputs to ensure correctness and alignment with mathematical theory
- • Adapt problem complexity to challenge state-of-the-art AI systems without relying on computational brute force
- • Submit all deliverables on schedule within a 2-month contract period, with potential for extension based on performance
- • Communicate clearly and professionally in English, ensuring all documentation is free of grammatical or technical errors
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness
- • Participate in iterative feedback loops to refine problem sets based on AI model performance and evaluation outcomes
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- • Strong research or industry experience involving mathematical modeling, proof-based reasoning, applied mathematics, or computational mathematics
- • Strong Python skills; comfort with libraries such as numpy, scipy, pandas, or similar
- • Solid grasp of algorithms, numerical methods, and computational approaches
- • Ability to design original, difficult problems that mirror real mathematical workflows
- • Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English
