📋 Description

• Design advanced mathematical problems to train and evaluate frontier AI models with a focus on rigorous reasoning capabilities
• Create deterministic problems that have exactly one verifiable correct answer, ensuring no ambiguity in formulation or solution
• Develop complete, verified solutions for each problem, including step-by-step reasoning that mirrors authentic mathematical workflows
• Construct problems that test deep conceptual understanding and analytical skills, avoiding reliance on memorization or pattern recognition
• Use Python and computational libraries such as numpy, scipy, and pandas to build reproducible computational workflows where applicable
• Ensure all problem statements, solutions, and documentation are technically precise, logically sound, and written in clear, professional English
• Contribute to high-quality STEM training datasets used directly in AI training and evaluation pipelines at leading AI research labs
• Collaborate with a remote team to refine problem difficulty, validity, and alignment with state-of-the-art model reasoning benchmarks
• Maintain strict adherence to technical standards for reproducibility, accuracy, and clarity in all submitted outputs
• Work within a 20-hour-per-week commitment over a 2-month project period, with potential for extension based on performance and need
• Deliver original, challenging problems that reflect real-world mathematical research and problem-solving contexts
• Ensure all outputs are free of errors and meet the highest standards of mathematical rigor and technical writing

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
• Strong research or industry experience in mathematical modeling, proof-based reasoning, applied mathematics, or computational mathematics
• Strong Python skills with comfort using libraries such as numpy, scipy, pandas, or similar
• Solid grasp of algorithms, numerical methods, and computational approaches
• Ability to design original, difficult mathematical problems that mirror authentic mathematical workflows
• Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English
