Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Design advanced, deterministic mathematical problems to train and evaluate frontier AI models with a focus on rigorous reasoning capabilities
- • Ensure every problem has exactly one verifiable correct answer, with no ambiguity or multiple interpretations
- • Develop complete, verified solutions that clearly document the logical and computational reasoning process behind each answer
- • Create problems that test deep mathematical understanding, not rote memorization or pattern recognition
- • Apply Python and specialized computational tools to build reproducible workflows for problem generation and validation
- • Maintain technical precision in all outputs, ensuring mathematical correctness and clarity in English
- • Contribute to the creation of high-quality STEM training data used directly in AI training and evaluation pipelines at leading AI labs
- • Collaborate remotely to deliver problem sets that challenge state-of-the-art AI systems in technical domains
- • Adhere to strict formatting and documentation standards for all submitted problems and solutions
- • Work within a 20-hour-per-week commitment over a 2-month project period, with potential for extension based on performance
- • Produce well-written, technically accurate content in English that meets the standards of academic and industrial AI research teams
- • Use computational methods to simulate, verify, or generate mathematical scenarios where applicable
- • Avoid problems that rely on external context, subjective interpretation, or non-mathematical assumptions
- • Ensure all problem designs are original and reflect authentic mathematical workflows found in research or advanced education
- • Submit problems and solutions in a structured format suitable for automated ingestion into AI training systems
- • Maintain consistent quality across all deliverables, with zero tolerance for errors in logic, notation, or computation
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting strict deadlines and quality benchmarks
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- • Strong research or industry experience involving mathematical modeling, proof-based reasoning, applied mathematics, or computational mathematics
- • Strong Python skills; comfort with libraries such as numpy, scipy, pandas, or similar
- • Solid grasp of algorithms, numerical methods, and computational approaches
- • Ability to design original, difficult problems that mirror real mathematical workflows
- • Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English
🏖️ Benefits
- • Compensation up to 40 USD per hour
- • Contract / part-time arrangement with 20 hours per week commitment
- • Immediate start available
- • Project duration of 2 months with potential for extension
