📋 Description

• The Medical Coder role at WellSky Corporation is essential for ensuring accurate and compliant billing through proper ICD-10-CM code assignment, directly supporting healthcare agencies in receiving correct reimbursement and maintaining regulatory adherence.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing OASIS documentation, assigning accurate ICD-10-CM codes, identifying primary and secondary diagnoses and procedures, ensuring coding compliance with internal policies and OASIS standards, and recommending plan of care corrections when needed.

🎯 Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Coding Certified (HCS-D or BCHH-C)
