- • Handle inbound sales calls and conduct proactive outbound follow-up to manage sales pipelines, service existing client books of business, and act on referrals for Medicare Supplement and Ancillary Health Insurance products.
- • Provide consultative, phone-based guidance to consumers on Medicare Supplement plans and ancillary products including standalone Dental/Vision, DVH, Hospital Indemnity, and Final Expense insurance.
- • Work a scheduled shift between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday, and be available for overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
- • Maintain strict adherence to attendance, schedule compliance, and performance standards as outlined by company policy.
- • Ensure all job responsibilities are performed in full compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Marketing Guidelines and company procedures.
- • Participate in carrier-specific training programs and provide feedback on product offerings and plan details to improve service and product knowledge.
- • Demonstrate consistent proficiency in compliance standards, product knowledge, and all defined performance metrics including application completion and member retention.
- • Drive sales and revenue by helping clients make informed healthcare decisions through personalized, needs-based conversations over the phone.
- • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales performance goals for both major medical and ancillary insurance applications.
- • Remain current on evolving Medicare Supplement and ancillary product offerings, underwriting processes, and regulatory requirements in a multi-product environment.
- • Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation aligns with licensing, compliance, and internal reporting standards.
- • Operate within a regulated industry requiring strict adherence to state and federal guidelines governing health insurance sales and beneficiary qualifications.
- • Leverage knowledge of State and Federal GI rights to properly advise clients on enrollment timelines, coverage options, and consumer protections.
- • Manage a licensing profile covering all 50 states and multiple top regional and national carriers contracted by eHealth.
- • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and retention through accurate, compliant, and customer-centric interactions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2 years of sales or contact center experience with Medicare Supplement products
- • Proficient in underwritten processes and qualifying beneficiaries
- • Thorough understanding of State and Federal GI rights
- • Ability to obtain a resident state health insurance license or currently hold an active health insurance license
- • Ability to work between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. PST
- • Must pass extensive background checks, including lifetime criminal history and credit reports
