📋 Description

• • As a Medior Backend Engineer on Hiya's Partner Distribution team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the company's call protection and verification products for global mobile operators and OEMs, directly contributing to safer, more trusted voice communication for hundreds of millions of users.
• • You will lead the full development lifecycle—translating business needs into technical specifications, building and deploying scalable systems in production, and maintaining ownership of system stability, observability, and cost efficiency through iterative delivery and incident response.
• • You will join a small, collaborative engineering team that values ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement, working with a modern stack of Scala, Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS to process real-time call signals at massive scale across a growing international partner network.
• • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native operations while gaining influence over technical direction and the ability to improve team workflows through innovation and mentorship.
