- • As a Member of Engineering (Design Engineer, Product) at Poolside AI, you will define what gets built at the frontier of AI and software development, shaping the product vision for developer experience in 0-to-1 spaces.
- • Day to day, you will own product vision, lead design and experimentation, prototype rapidly, partner with engineering to ship ideas, collaborate with designers, and shape how Poolside’s product is experienced externally by developers.
- • Poolside is a remote-first, multidisciplinary team distributed across EMEA and North America, with monthly in-person collaboration in Paris and annual off-sites, united by a mission to reach AGI through intelligent systems for software development.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in AI-driven developer tools, sharpen your product judgment in ambiguous environments, and see your taste and judgment directly influence what ships — advancing both your impact and growth as a product-builder at the cutting edge of AI.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong product intuition with a history of defining what to build, not just how to build it.
- • Genuine history of building with code: scripts, tools, or personal projects shipped from scratch.
- • Deep experience designing specifically for developer tools, not general consumer or enterprise products.
- • Strong visual craft: ability to produce polished, high-quality UI and maintain a high bar across the full product experience.
- • Comfortable with rapid prototyping, research, and proof-of-concepts, moving fast to validate early.
- • Highly autonomous: able to set direction, bring others along, and make sound decisions in ambiguity.
