- • Deploy enterprise-grade voice AI solutions end-to-end for major customers like Amazon Ring, New York Life, and Intuit within 30 days of hire.
- • Identify gaps between product capabilities and customer needs during deployments, then build internal tooling or product enhancements that make future deployments materially faster by day 60.
- • Design and establish new processes or infrastructure that the team did not previously have in place, ensuring scalability as enterprise ARR grows 5x year-over-year.
- • Work directly with customers to understand their business workflows and translate them into technical requirements for voice agent deployment.
- • Collaborate across Product, GTM, and Engineering teams to align on customer success metrics and product roadmap priorities.
- • Build and customize frontend interfaces using React, Next.js, Vue, or Tailwind to enhance customer onboarding experiences.
- • Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express, FastAPI, Django, or Flask to support real-time voice interactions and data flows.
- • Implement data models and integrations using SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis to store and retrieve customer-specific voice agent configurations.
- • Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS, GCP, Azure, Vercel, or Railway to ensure reliable, low-latency voice agent performance.
- • Leverage TypeScript and Python to write clean, maintainable code across full-stack components.
- • Utilize AI/ML technologies including LLM APIs, RAG, and vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector) to enhance voice agent intelligence and context retention.
- • Integrate real-time communication protocols such as WebSockets, SSE, WebRTC, or SIP to enable seamless voice interactions.
- • Automate deployment workflows using Docker, Kubernetes, or Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to reduce manual effort and increase consistency.
- • Document all deployed solutions, internal tools, and processes to enable knowledge sharing and replication across the team.
- • Operate autonomously in ambiguous environments, identifying problems and driving solutions without waiting for direction.
- • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
- • Contribute to open source projects or ship personal technical projects that demonstrate initiative and ownership.
- • Participate in quarterly off-sites and team-building activities to foster a collaborative, kind, and founder-driven culture.
- • Utilize advanced coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or Windsurf to accelerate development and improve code quality.
- • Maintain a bias toward action: identify a broken system, fix it, and document the improvement.
- • Work in a startup environment with fewer than 50 employees, where roles are fluid and impact is direct and measurable.
- • Serve as a founding or early engineer (first 10) at a startup that raised a Series A or higher, bringing institutional knowledge of scaling technical operations.
- • Contribute to the company’s generational mission: building the human interface for every business through voice AI.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional engineering experience
- • Has worked at a company with fewer than 50 people
- • Has shipped at least one product with real users (1,000+ active users, revenue-generating, or critical to business operations)
- • 1+ year as a founding or early engineer (first 10) at a startup that raised Series A or beyond
- • Strong generalist: proficient in UI/UX implementation, API design, data modeling, and systems architecture
- • Backend: Node.js, Express, FastAPI, Django, or Flask; Frontend: React, Next.js, Vue, or Tailwind; Language: TypeScript or Python; Database: SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis; Deployment: AWS, GCP, Azure, Vercel, or Railway
