• Genesis AI is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Member of Technical Staff, Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team in Paris. • In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and operating large-scale, massively distributed, and fault-tolerant systems. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and enhancing the reliability and performance of the Genesis platform, ensuring seamless service delivery to our global customer base. This involves a deep dive into the intricacies of our existing systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing robust solutions. You will be a champion for operational excellence, meticulously optimizing system performance, and developing new infrastructure components to support our ambitious growth. A significant part of your day-to-day will involve eliminating toil through sophisticated automation, thereby continuously improving system uptime and accelerating the rate of change without compromising stability. • The ideal candidate will possess strong software engineering skills, with a proven track record in languages such as Python, Go, or similar, coupled with extensive experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting complex distributed systems. Deep expertise in cloud computing platforms, including but not limited to Kubernetes and Cloud Functions, is essential. A solid understanding of Non-Abstract Large Systems Design (NALSD) principles will be highly valued. Furthermore, you should have demonstrable experience leading complex, large-scale technical projects, providing effective technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams. The ability to apply fundamental computer science principles, including coding, algorithms, and complexity analysis, to solve ambiguous problems at scale with minimal disruption is a key requirement.
