- • This position operates on a hybrid remote/onsite schedule, requiring one day per week at our Walkley Road Head Office, typically on Tuesdays. Additional onsite days may be requested based on business needs, offering a blend of flexibility and in-person collaboration.
- • The core purpose of the Merchandise Coordinator role is to provide timely and error-free administrative support to the Category Management team. This support is crucial for maintaining SKU file integrity, managing marketing activities, and handling product samples. The ultimate outcome of your work will be the on-time quantification and delivery of assortments that meet and exceed store expectations.
- • A primary responsibility involves meticulous SKU File maintenance. This includes ensuring data integrity, managing related support files, and effectively communicating any changes or updates to various cross-functional teams. Your attention to detail here is paramount for accurate product information across the organization.
- • You will also be responsible for vendor administration, including the setup of domestic vendors and the issuance of all vendor and private label manuals. This involves providing essential information to new vendors and updating vendor profiles as required, acting as a key point of contact for vendor-related administrative tasks.
- • The role includes providing administrative support for the execution of import quote sheets, a critical step in bringing products to market. This requires careful coordination and accurate data handling.
- • You will be tasked with creating and releasing package and return sheets in accordance with the buying calendar, ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared and distributed on schedule.
- • Significant administrative support will be provided to the Category/assortment functions, including the management of colour cards, purchase logs, and flyer boards. These tasks are vital for the visual merchandising and planning aspects of product categories.
- • You will collaborate closely with Category Assistants to support product sample management, ensuring that samples are organized, tracked, and available as needed for review and decision-making.
- • A key function is responding to inquiries received through the Buying Help Desk, specifically concerning the SKU File and Return to Vendor/Return to Warehouse (RTV/RTW) processes. You will be responsible for communicating the necessary information to resolve these inquiries efficiently.
- • This role demands excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- • A demonstrable strong attention to detail and a deep appreciation for data integrity are essential, as accuracy is critical in all aspects of SKU management and vendor administration.
- • You will bring strong communication skills, functioning effectively as a team player while maintaining an enthusiastic and proactive approach to learning and development.
- • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel, is required to perform daily tasks and collaborate with colleagues effectively.
