- • Own the full B2B SaaS sales cycle for mid-market accounts (<2,500 employees, $40k–$60k land deals, average 3-month sales cycle) from inbound lead qualification through closure.
- • Engage technical buyers including Developers, DevOps, IT, and CTOs, guiding them through product evaluation and proof-of-concept processes.
- • Manage and expand an existing US-based inbound sales pipeline, which currently accounts for 50% of the company’s total pipeline.
- • Collaborate closely with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success teams to demonstrate n8n’s capabilities and ensure seamless onboarding for new customers.
- • Refine and shape the US sales motion by working directly with leadership to optimize playbooks, strategies, and customer engagement tactics.
- • Serve as a key contributor to n8n’s US market expansion, helping build the foundational sales infrastructure for future growth.
- • Operate in a hybrid model requiring 2–3 days per week in-office in Boston or New York, with regular travel between these locations.
- • Focus exclusively on inbound sales—no outbound prospecting required—leveraging a strong, product-led pipeline generated by n8n’s open-source community and product adoption.
- • Work within a fast-moving, startup environment that values autonomy, entrepreneurial initiative, and data-driven decision-making.
- • Contribute to shaping the company’s US sales culture by bringing insights from customer interactions to improve product-market fit and sales efficiency.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with n8n’s platform by using it to build workflows and understand technical use cases firsthand.
- • Represent n8n in the US market as a trusted advisor to technical teams, aligning workflow automation solutions with their operational needs.
- • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve sales enablement, including feedback loops with Product and Engineering teams.
- • Maintain accurate CRM records and forecast pipeline with precision to support company-wide planning and growth targets.
- • Embrace n8n’s builder spirit by actively engaging with the open-source community and understanding the developer-centric nature of the product.
- • Travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, or support regional sales activities in the Northeast US.
- • Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership of territory and results without heavy oversight.
- • Adapt quickly to evolving product features, integrations, and market demands in a rapidly scaling AI orchestration platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS sales role, specifically as a Mid-Market Account Executive or similar.
- • Proven success in closing technical deals, ideally with developer-focused or open-source products.
- • Track record of being in the top 10% of your sales team.
- • Demonstrated ability to drive deals from an inbound pipeline (100% inbound sales model).
- • Experience working with technical buyers and navigating proof-of-concept evaluations.
- • Based in Boston (with monthly travel to NYC) or New York (hybrid 2–3 days per week) and open to travel.
