- • A Mid/Senior Platform Engineer role focused on building technical platforms and shared infrastructure used across multiple engineering teams, directly improving engineering velocity, reliability, and scalability.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining shared libraries and SDKs, developing shared backend services and internal APIs, improving developer experience through service templates and tooling, designing and maintaining CI/CD workflows, building observability tooling, collaborating with product engineering teams on integrations and troubleshooting, and participating in on-call rotations and incident response.
- • You will join a high-performing platform engineering team at Careerswift AI Inc. responsible for foundational systems including internal libraries, shared backend services, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and observability, supporting distributed cross-functional teams.
- • In this role, you can deepen expertise in cloud-native platforms using TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and AWS; lead technical discussions; mentor engineers; influence engineering standards; and gain ownership of production systems with impact on scalability and reliability across the organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience building backend services using TypeScript and Node.js, ideally with NestJS in production environments
- • Strong software engineering fundamentals including understanding of CPU, memory, I/O, concurrency, and performance bottlenecks
- • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, including troubleshooting and release workflows
- • Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or similar
- • Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and domains quickly
- • Commitment to writing maintainable, reusable, and high-quality code
