• • As a Middle 2D Animator, your primary responsibility will be to bring characters, objects, and environments to life through high-quality 2D animation. This involves understanding game design principles and translating them into visually compelling animated sequences that align with the overall artistic direction and gameplay mechanics.
• • You will be expected to produce a wide range of animations, including character idle cycles, walk cycles, attack animations, special effects, UI animations, and environmental animations, ensuring consistency in style and quality across all assets.
• • A key aspect of this role is collaborating closely with game designers, concept artists, and other animators to ensure that animations effectively communicate gameplay information, enhance player experience, and meet project deadlines.
• • You will participate in brainstorming sessions, provide constructive feedback on animation concepts, and contribute to the development of animation pipelines and best practices.
• • The role requires a strong understanding of animation principles such as timing, spacing, anticipation, follow-through, and squash and stretch, applied effectively within the context of game development.
• • You will be responsible for rigging characters and objects as needed, preparing animation assets for integration into game engines, and troubleshooting any animation-related issues that may arise.
