- • Middle NodeJS Engineer at Dressly, a venture-backed fashion tech platform under Skelar AS, helping to build AI-powered solutions that are transforming the global fashion industry through personalization and innovation.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining backend architecture using Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript, building and supporting APIs for client interfaces and integrations, solving user-facing problems while aligning with business goals, conducting constructive code reviews, and applying SOLID and GRASP principles to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- • Part of Skelar AS, a venture builder that creates and scales consumer businesses in EdTech, Mental Health, Petcare, FashionTech, and more, with products used by over 10 million people worldwide and recognized by Product Hunt and The Webby Awards.
- • Opportunity to grow as an engineer by working closely with founders, designers, and marketers, influencing product vision, gaining end-to-end business exposure, and contributing to meaningful projects including social initiatives like the Veteran Venture accelerator and Ukraine-focused humanitarian efforts.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience working with Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript
- • Deep understanding of how tools work 'under the hood', not just framework usage
- • Ability to work iteratively using the 'build, test, improve' principle
- • Skill in prioritizing tasks and distinguishing critical from secondary work
- • Interest in new technologies, trends, and AI, with a willingness to share knowledge
- • Strong sense of ownership over the code produced for users
