📋 Description

  • • Join Tide, a rapidly growing fintech company revolutionizing the small business banking market, as a Midweight Copywriter within our Member Engagement Marketing (MEM) team. You will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling and engaging copy that drives product adoption and enhances the experience for our 1.8 million+ members globally.
  • • As a key member of the UK/Europe Marketing function, you will focus on content creation for our existing Tide members, working in close collaboration with our CRM colleagues to develop impactful campaigns across Tide’s comprehensive suite of products and features. You’ll be part of a dynamic 7-person team, which also includes dedicated local writers for our German and French markets, fostering a collaborative and international environment.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to translate complex technical information and business objectives into clear, concise, and persuasive English copy. You will be adept at 'jargon busting,' transforming intricate details into accessible and engaging messaging that resonates with small business owners.
  • • This role involves creative copywriting across a variety of formats, with a strong emphasis on email marketing and mobile notifications. You will also contribute to blog posts, landing pages, and other marketing collateral, ensuring a consistent and high-quality brand voice across all touchpoints.
  • • A deep passion for customer experience is essential. You will be dedicated to delivering content that not only informs but also delights our SME members, helping them save time and money so they can focus on what they do best.
  • • You will be expected to review, amend, and approve existing content, providing constructive feedback and guidance to other writers within the team and across the business. This mentorship aspect is crucial for fostering a strong internal copywriting community and maintaining brand consistency.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with various internal teams, including our broader copy community, to ensure all content aligns with Tide’s overarching marketing strategy and business goals.
  • • Excellent communication skills are vital, enabling you to confidently liaise with diverse stakeholders, provide project updates, and articulate your creative vision effectively.
  • • You will be joining a stellar content team with a proven track record of delivering exceptional copy, offering a supportive environment where you can grow your skills and contribute to significant marketing initiatives.
  • • Tide is committed to helping SMEs thrive by offering innovative banking and administrative solutions. Your work will directly contribute to member engagement, retention, and the overall success of the Tide platform.
  • • You will be instrumental in developing copy that educates members about new features, promotes existing services, and reinforces Tide's value proposition as a trusted partner for small businesses.
  • • The role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for content improvement and suggesting new initiatives to enhance our copywriting processes and output.
  • • You will be a guardian of Tide's brand voice and tone, ensuring all communications are on-brand, accurate, and impactful.
  • • This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, innovative fintech environment, contributing to the growth and success of a company dedicated to empowering small businesses worldwide.
  • • You will be involved in the end-to-end copywriting process, from understanding initial briefs to final content delivery and performance analysis.
  • • Your ability to adapt your writing style to different formats and target audiences within the SME sector will be crucial for success.
  • • You will contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the marketing team, sharing best practices and insights.
  • • The role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights to inform your copywriting strategies.
  • • You will be a key player in ensuring our members feel understood, supported, and valued through clear and effective communication.
  • • Embrace the challenge of simplifying complex financial and administrative concepts into easily digestible and engaging content for a diverse SME audience.
  • • Contribute to campaigns that highlight Tide's unique selling propositions and competitive advantages in the fintech landscape.
  • • Develop a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends to ensure Tide's messaging remains relevant and impactful.
  • • Your work will directly influence member satisfaction and loyalty by providing them with the information and support they need through well-crafted copy.
  • • Be a proactive voice in content strategy discussions, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the table.
  • • Ensure all copy adheres to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards, particularly within the financial services sector.
  • • Collaborate with designers and product teams to ensure copy and visuals work harmoniously to create a cohesive user experience.
  • • This role is ideal for a creative and analytical copywriter looking to make a significant contribution to a leading fintech brand.
