📋 Description

• As an ML Engineer at Orcrist Technologies Inc., you will productionize NLP, audio, and document models that power the Orcrist Intelligence Platform (OIP), a secure, Kubernetes-native data intelligence system used by defense, law-enforcement, and enterprise teams. Your work ensures trustworthy, scalable AI enrichment is delivered globally through robust deployment and monitoring.
• Day to day, you will package and deploy models (ASR, translation, OCR, NER, summarization) using Triton/KServe on Kubernetes, build evaluation pipelines (WER, BLEU, F1, latency, cost) with automated release gating, operate streaming and batch inference via Kafka and Temporal, monitor model drift and quality using Prometheus, Grafana, and Evidently, and collaborate with TypeScript teams on payload schemas and human-in-the-loop feedback loops.
• Orcrist builds the Orcrist Intelligence Platform (OIP), a secure, Kubernetes-native data intelligence system deployed as SaaS or self-hosted/on-prem (including air-gapped missions). The company fuses data processing, ML, and intuitive UX to serve defense, law-enforcement, and enterprise teams with trustworthy AI-driven insights.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in MLOps and production ML systems, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools like Triton, KServe, Temporal, and Evidently, and contribute to high-impact AI applications in regulated environments, advancing your career as a trusted ML engineer in secure, mission-critical domains.

🎯 Requirements

• 4–8+ years of ML engineering or MLOps experience shipping models to production
• Strong Python, PyTorch/Transformers, and experience with Triton/KServe or similar
• Comfortable with Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, and GPU workload operations
• Knowledge of evaluation metrics, monitoring, and annotation workflows
• Eligible to work in Germany; export-control screening required for certain programs
