ML Engineer / Research Engineer (Contractor)

📋 Description

• • As an ML Engineer / Research Engineer contractor at Maneva, you will advance research and engineering efforts in AI systems for manufacturing operations, focusing on vision and production data to reduce downtime, enhance quality, and improve worker safety through actionable automation on the factory floor.
• • Day to day, you will collaborate with a lead researcher on modeling decisions and structured experiments, implement and maintain policy training code for methods like ACT, Diffusion Policy, and Pi0 fine-tuning/OpenPi, independently read and implement new methods from recent papers, run ablation sweeps, generate comparison tables and plots, analyze experimental results, maintain an evaluation harness for reproducibility, conduct literature sweeps, organize related-work documentation, draft and iterate on technical writing sections, and review training code from robotics engineers as needed.
