- • Senior Machine Learning Engineer role focused on building evaluation systems for safe, accurate, and clinically reliable large language models in healthcare.
- • Design and build evaluation frameworks for LLM safety, clinical accuracy, and conversational quality; develop synthetic data generation pipelines; build automated and human-in-the-loop evaluation systems; create benchmarks and LLM-as-judge metrics; analyze failure modes to drive model improvements.
- • Join Hippocratic AI, a leader in healthcare-specific generative AI, backed by $404M in funding and a $3.5B valuation, working alongside physicians, AI pioneers from Stanford, Johns Hopkins, Google, Meta, and NVIDIA to build the world’s first safety-focused healthcare LLM.
- • Opportunity to directly impact patient outcomes by defining quality and safety standards for AI in healthcare, collaborate across research, engineering, and clinical teams, and grow expertise in LLM evaluation, synthetic data, and production ML systems at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • MS or PhD in CS or related field
- • 5+ years in ML engineering, evaluation systems, or applied ML
- • Strong software engineering skills — Python, PyTorch, and production-quality code
- • Hands-on experience with LLM evaluation, benchmarking, or synthetic data generation
- • Experience building robust data analysis and evaluation infrastructure
- • Experience with UI/UX and front-end development toolkits such as Streamlit, Gradio, React, etc.
