- • Embed yourself in a frontier AI lab as a Modelling Resident, contributing directly to production and research projects alongside the modelling team.
- • Co-design adaptive algorithms that continuously learn in real-time from product signals and user feedback to improve system performance.
- • Explore novel methods of capturing feedback that enhance algorithmic responsiveness and alignment with real-world usage patterns.
- • Collaborate across software, hardware, and algorithmic domains to identify and implement system-wide efficiency gains in AI infrastructure.
- • Focus on measurable real-world impact as the primary metric of success, prioritizing outcomes over theoretical performance.
- • Apply systems thinking to optimize the full machine learning stack, from data pipelines to inference layers and feedback loops.
- • Leverage strong Python skills to implement, prototype, and iterate on deep learning models using PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
- • Apply model optimization techniques such as RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) and fine-tuning to improve model alignment and efficiency.
- • Work in a fully remote, global environment requiring strong communication skills, self-awareness, and openness to feedback.
- • Own end-to-end outcomes: from ideation and experimentation to deployment and impact measurement, with emphasis on last-mile delivery.

🎯 Requirements
- • A degree or equivalent research/engineering experience in a computer science field
- • Genuine interest in and at least one project touching: model efficiency, synthetic data, interfaces, real-time alignment, or algorithmic optimization
- • Systems thinking — the ability to understand and optimize across the full ML stack
- • Strong Python skills and experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow)
- • Familiarity with model optimization techniques such as RLHF and fine-tuning
- • Strong communication and self-awareness — ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment and openness to feedback
