• Motion Designer at Sportygroup B.V. plays a pivotal role in amplifying Football.com’s brand presence across Africa, where football is more than a sport — it’s a cultural heartbeat. • Day-to-day responsibilities include creating high-quality motion graphics and visual content for marketing campaigns across social media, digital advertising, and brand channels; collaborating with performance marketing, brand, and content teams to ensure creative assets align with strategic business and campaign goals; delivering projects from concept through final execution, ensuring designs are on-brand, consistent, and optimized for performance; contributing to campaign ideation by bringing fresh ideas and creative energy to marketing initiatives; staying current with creative trends, football culture, and emerging digital platforms to maintain Football.com’s competitive edge; working with analytics teams to apply performance insights and optimize creative output for maximum impact; and supporting recruitment and mentorship within the design function as the creative team expands.

• In this role, you will sharpen your expertise in performance-driven motion design, learn to translate data insights into creative optimization, and grow as a mentor and leader within an expanding creative function. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the visual identity of a rapidly scaling sports media brand while working alongside passionate professionals who live and breathe football culture.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Design, Motion Graphics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Proven experience in motion design or graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing social media and marketing content
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other motion/animation tools
• Understanding of performance marketing creatives and how to optimize assets for engagement and conversion
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working in cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight deadlines
• Passion for sport and strong awareness of football culture, particularly in African markets
• Proactive, curious, and self-motivated mindset with adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
