- • Serve as National Commercial Underwriting Counsel, delivering best-in-industry commercial title production services using cutting-edge technology and a high-performing national team.
- • Exercise aligned autonomy to make high-impact underwriting decisions while owning full accountability for outcomes in commercial real estate title transactions.
- • Collaborate with underwriters, examiners, and business stakeholders across multiple regions to resolve complex commercial title production challenges and identify innovative risk-balanced solutions.
- • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of commercial underwriting operations nationwide.
- • Provide expert-level guidance on commercial real estate title insurance, settlement services, and underwriting practices across diverse jurisdictions and regulatory environments.
- • Evaluate commercial real estate title production issues with deep knowledge of title insurance laws, property records, and settlement procedures in multiple states.
- • Act as a talent magnet and mentor to develop the next generation of commercial underwriting professionals, enhancing team capability and leadership pipeline.
- • Actively engage with emerging technologies, including AI tools, to modernize underwriting workflows, improve decision-making, and reduce operational risk.
- • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and creative problem-solving by challenging existing processes and introducing data-informed, technology-enabled innovations.
- • Build strong, empathetic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align underwriting decisions with business objectives and customer needs.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of national commercial title underwriting experience with multi-region exposure strongly preferred
- • Bachelor’s degree; Law degree preferred
- • Expert-level understanding of commercial real estate transactions, title insurance, and settlement services
- • Demonstrated ability to own outcomes and exercise accountability in underwriting decisions
- • Strong relationship-building skills with ability to generate empathy and rapport across diverse constituencies
- • Comfort evaluating commercial title underwriting issues across multiple U.S. jurisdictions
