Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the end-to-end product operations strategy for BrownDust 2 in China, turning a beloved Korean IP into a household name across PC, console, and mobile platforms. You will be the single-threaded owner who translates global creative vision into locally resonant campaigns that delight millions of Chinese ACG fans.
  • • Architect and run the official SNS ecosystem, with Bilibili as the flagship channel and TikTok, WeChat, Weibo, and QQ as supporting pillars. You will craft weekly content calendars, storyboard original videos, memes, and interactive posts, and then publish, moderate, and optimize in real time to grow followers, engagement, and brand love.
  • • Design and execute integrated marketing communications that fuse live-streaming, short-form video, paid ads, influencer seeding, and milestone events into one coherent narrative. You will brief creators, negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and track ROI to ensure every yuan spent drives measurable installs, re-activations, and revenue.
  • • Build and nurture a thriving user community across QQ groups, Bilibili forums, and Discord-like channels. You will host weekly AMAs, art contests, theory-crafting tournaments, and offline meet-ups, turning superfans into evangelists and casual players into lifelong customers.
  • • Own Voice-of-Customer (VOC) collection and triage. You will mine sentiment from social chatter, app-store reviews, and in-game surveys, then translate raw feedback into prioritized bug reports, balance suggestions, and new content ideas that the Seoul dev team can act on within sprint cycles.
  • • Expand the BrownDust 2 IP beyond the screen by planning pop-up stores, exhibition booths at ChinaJoy and Bilibili World, limited-edition merchandise drops, and UGC challenges that inspire cosplayers, artists, and lore writers to keep the universe alive between major updates.
  • • Partner with finance, legal, and regional publishing teams to forecast revenue, manage marketing P&L, and ensure all campaigns comply with Chinese advertising law, platform policies, and IP licensing agreements.
  • • Champion cross-cultural collaboration by acting as the bridge between Korean developers, Chinese players, and global stakeholders. You will localize patch notes, lore, and memes while preserving the soul of the original game and respecting regional sensitivities.
  • • Establish KPIs for reach, engagement, retention, and monetization; build dashboards in Excel, Tableau, or Looker Studio; and present weekly performance reviews to studio leadership, iterating campaigns on the fly to beat targets.
  • • Stay ahead of ACG subculture trends—VTubers, gacha psychology, danmaku culture, meme formats—and inject fresh ideas into the roadmap so BrownDust 2 always feels native, not translated.
  • • Mentor junior community managers and content creators, fostering a culture of curiosity, data-driven creativity, and fearless experimentation.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of hands-on product operations, community, or marketing experience in the Chinese games or ACG industry
  • • Native-level Mandarin and business-fluent English or Korean for seamless cross-team communication
  • • Proven track record of growing Bilibili/TikTok/WeChat channels to 100k+ followers or equivalent engagement metrics
  • • Deep understanding of Chinese gaming regulations, platform policies, and IP licensing requirements
  • • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or Looker Studio to build and interpret performance dashboards

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive base salary plus performance bonus tied to user growth and revenue KPIs
  • • Full coverage of social insurance and housing fund plus supplementary commercial medical insurance
  • • Annual team-building trips to Korea for direct collaboration with the Seoul development studio
  • • Flexible hybrid work arrangement and generous game-purchase allowance to stay inspired by the market
