- • Design and run a data-driven, always-on content engine across X, Discord, YouTube, 5ch, LINE, Niconico, note, Pixiv, TikTok, and emerging channels. From daily memes to cinematic lore drops, you will craft posts that spark conversation, drive organic reach, and convert lurkers into superfans.
- • Act as the real-time cultural interpreter between Japanese players and global dev teams in Korea and the US. You will condense 2,000-line Discord threads into a one-page brief, and turn patch-note bullet points into emotionally resonant Japanese stories that feel native, never translated.
- • Build and manage a tiered influencer network—VTubers, speed-runners, cosplayers, lore YouTubers, and fan-art legends—negotiating deliverables, contracts, and creative freedom while protecting brand tone and legal boundaries.
- • Produce multi-format content yourself: live-tweet developer streams, host weekly Discord AMAs, script 30-second TikTok hooks, write long-form blogs, design interactive polls, and launch seasonal art contests that keep the fandom buzzing 24/7.
- • Plan unforgettable IRL moments: secure TGS booth space, coordinate midnight launch events in Shibuya, organize secret boss-rush pop-ups in Akihabara, and run media-only preview sessions. You own budgets, vendors, risk assessments, and post-event ROI reports.
- • Monitor sentiment around the clock using Brandwatch, Discord insights, and proprietary dashboards. Detect disinformation, harassment, or exploit chatter within minutes and coordinate with CS, legal, and platform partners to safeguard the player experience.
- • Align community beats with marketing, PR, localization, and product management calendars. Ensure every campaign feels like a conversation, not an ad, and that pre-launch hype, patch-day excitement, and post-launch retention flow seamlessly.
- • Champion accessibility and inclusivity: craft programs that welcome newcomers, respect Japanese social etiquette, and comply with local regulations around gacha, streaming rights, and UGC.
- • Run quarterly voice-of-player research—focus groups, surveys, and play-tests—then synthesize findings into executive-ready decks that influence roadmap prioritization and live-ops strategy.
- • Mentor junior coordinators and interns, building scalable templates and playbooks that future-proof NEOWIZ GameOn’s community muscle across upcoming titles.
- • Celebrate the community relentlessly: retweet fan art within minutes, ship signed posters to superfans, and engineer surprise-and-delight moments that turn satisfied players into lifelong evangelists.
- • Stay ahead of platform algorithm shifts, competitor campaigns, and cultural memes. Pilot new formats—VTuber collabs, AR filters, Web3 quests—and present clear ROI to leadership.
- • Uphold NEOWIZ GameOn’s core values of transparency, craftsmanship, and player-first thinking in every post, reply, and handshake.
🎯 Requirements
- • Native-level Japanese and business-fluent English (written & spoken) with proven localization or transcreation experience in games or entertainment.
- • 3+ years managing Japanese gaming communities on Discord, X, YouTube, or equivalent platforms; hands-on with analytics, content calendars, and crisis response.
- • Demonstrated success building and scaling influencer programs—contracts, KPIs, creative briefs, and post-campaign reporting.
- • Experience producing multi-format content (short-form video, blogs, live streams) and running on-the-ground events in Japan.
- • Deep understanding of Japanese gaming culture, social platform etiquette, and regulatory landscape (gacha, streaming, UGC).
