You will collaborate closely with internal teams on new deployments, critical upgrades, and strategic network enhancements. This position offers a dynamic blend of hands-on technical execution and strategic ownership, ensuring that every client environment we manage is not only secure and scalable but also adheres to our high standards of standardization. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in networking, you will play a crucial role in defining and elevating the networking standards across our entire organization. - • Serving as the definitive networking subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to both Service Delivery and Professional Services teams, ensuring consistent and high-quality network solutions.
- • Taking ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of client network environments, from initial design and detailed configuration to ongoing support, including the seamless execution of new deployments and critical upgrades.
- • Proactively monitoring network performance, ensuring optimal operation, and maintaining high standards of standardization across all subscription-based client networks to guarantee reliability and efficiency.
- • Acting as the ultimate escalation point for intricate and challenging network issues, leading comprehensive root cause analysis investigations and implementing effective, long-term solutions.
- • Collaborating closely with project teams on the scoping, meticulous execution, and thorough documentation of all network-focused initiatives, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project timelines.
- • Identifying opportunities for and recommending the implementation of strategic improvements to network infrastructure, with a focus on enhancing overall reliability, future scalability, and robust security posture.
- • Developing and maintaining network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and best practice guides, to ensure knowledge transfer and operational consistency.
- • Staying abreast of the latest networking technologies, trends, and security threats, and applying this knowledge to enhance client solutions and internal processes.
- • Participating in pre-sales technical discussions, assisting sales teams in understanding client network requirements and proposing appropriate solutions.
- • Contributing to the development and refinement of Network Right’s internal networking best practices, standards, and methodologies.
- • Mentoring junior network engineers and sharing knowledge to foster a culture of continuous learning and technical growth within the team.
- • Ensuring compliance with client security policies and industry regulations through diligent network design and management.
- • Troubleshooting and resolving complex network connectivity, performance, and security issues across diverse client infrastructures.
- • Managing and maintaining network device configurations, firmware updates, and patch management to ensure optimal security and functionality.
- • Designing and implementing robust VPN solutions for secure remote access and site-to-site connectivity.
- • Optimizing network traffic flow and bandwidth utilization through effective routing and switching configurations.
- • Implementing and managing network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control lists.
- • Planning and executing network disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- • Evaluating and recommending new network hardware and software solutions to meet evolving client needs and technological advancements.
- • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our service delivery processes and methodologies related to network management.
- • Building and nurturing trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their business objectives and how technology can support them.
