- • GuidePoint Security is seeking a Network Security Engineer (Zscaler) for a remote position in the Mid-Atlantic region (EST preferred) to deliver expert cybersecurity solutions that help organizations minimize risk and optimize security posture.
- • The role involves providing network security implementation and consulting services across diverse customer environments, managing SASE technologies (Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto), firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortigate, Check Point, Cisco), and developing detailed network security documentation including as-builts, implementation guides, and network diagrams.
- • GuidePoint Security is a rapidly growing, profitable, privately-held value-added reseller and professional services organization with over 1,200 employees, serving more than 6,200 customers including Fortune 500 companies and U.S. government agencies, known for its collaborative culture, mentorship, and commitment to employee growth.
- • The engineer will gain deep expertise in cutting-edge SASE and firewall technologies, lead client-facing projects, author security runbooks and best practices, and expand their knowledge across multi-cloud and SD-WAN environments while working autonomously in a trusted advisor role.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3 to 5 years of Network Security Engineering experience in enterprise environments
- • MUST be ZDTA or ZDTE certified
- • Hands-on firewall experience with Palo Alto, Fortigate, CheckPoint, or Cisco ASA-Firepower
- • Experience deploying firewall technologies in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- • Experience authoring security runbooks, policy, and best practice documentation
- • Ability to confidently lead projects and serve as the trusted network security voice in customer conversations
